Events Of The Academic Year 2015 - 16

T he first academic year with CCE pattern for SSC unfolded with an honour conferred on X students. who are the 10th successive batch with 2 students standing First in Mandal Level 10 GPA (P. Sri Lekha Reddy and Amtul Fatima) and 100% pass percentage in SSC Board Examination.

This year we have a total of 1600 students and a record breaking goal of 360 new admissions was hit.

We have welcomed Sr. Rosy T.R to take charge as correspondent in the place of Sr. Tresa Varghese.

The success is also the combined effort of Principal Sr. Pushpa Leela.L, the right guide , God fearing woman, well disciplined, soft cornered for the poor and the teachers, obedient and cooperative to the management, whose supreme art is to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.

We are fortunate to have 49 teachers capable of fulfilling the demands of the growing modern generation of students. We have a counseling staff and an enthusiastic team of co-curricular activity teachers for Music, Dance, Karate, skating and band. This helps in exploring and nurturing the innate talents and skills of our promising students. We have 2 administrative staff and the 11 supportive staff.

Students Exposure to various events in campus and out campus:


S t. Ann’s students are being exposed to many inter school activities where they have displayed their talent in a wide arena.

I n the previous academic year 2014-15 Eduranet 10th Intellectual Olympiad we bagged one gold medal, one silver medal and one bronze for General knowledge and awareness skills, 2 silver medals and one bronze medal for Advanced Mathematics skills, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals for Science and research skills,1 silver medal for basics of Computers and WWW skills and one appreciation for leadership and social skills. In the current academic year 2015-16 11th Intellectual Olympiad 44 students have been selected for the finals. We are privileged to announce that our school stands in ‘A’ division in Eduranet Intellectual Olympiad state wide.

I n connection with LIC’s 59th Anniversary in Ranga Reddy district level Six students from High School section participated in the competitions such as elocution, Essay writing and drawing or painting. Among them Rabiya Nikhat of X std won III prize for Essay writing competition, T Srivaishnavi of IX std won a consolation prize for Elocution.

K Pranavi of IV A participated in Telangana State Level Open to all style Martial Arts Kung-Fu and Karate Championship – 2015 under authority of All styles martial arts organization held on 6th September, 2015 at Karimnagar and was awarded First in the championship.

S ai Joshna of V class, Sahil Kumar of VI class and J Hrithika Kristein of VII class who have participated in Inter school Olympiad Gymnastic Championship , West Zone at GHMC PJR Indoor Stadium , Chandanagar on 7th Dec, 2015 secured II and III prizes in Floor and Table Vault.

W ith just a word from the principal a donation of 70.000/- to the mentally challenged students was contributed by the parents, students and staff of our school on semi-Christmas celebration day.

  • Mr. Srinivas Rao, _______ of Fenoplast Pvt. Ltd. has generously sponsored the fee for 5 financially backward students.
  • Mrs. Deepthi from USA has come out of her way to pay the fee of a student.
  • A kind hearted person sponsored Rs. 78,000/- towards the school fee of 5 students.
  • Mr. Mathias Reddy has contributed Rs. 20,000/- to purchase note books for 10 economically weak students.
  • Few parents have come forward to sponsor for leveling the play ground.

T he Investiture ceremony was held with lots of enthusiasm and gusto on 27th June, 2015. Our newly elected student prefect body took an oath in front of the whole school to be true to their posts and duties assigned to them. Mr. Bhoopal, SI, Madinaguda police station was the chief guest of the day and appreciated the efforts of the students’ participation in the march past. The theme of the year “Light of Life” was inaugurated on this day.
