A s the quotation goes “Plan your next move. Because every step contributes towards your goal”. St. Ann’s High school, Madinaguda has stepped towards its goal to prepare children to reach their full potential as responsible citizen.

The climax of academic year 2016-17 has brought a glad tidings of excellent academic achievements of the students of Class X 2016-17 batch . A batch of 99 children appeared for the exams and we had a 100% result with 3 students getting a perfect 10 GPA, Jahnavi, T. Vyshanvi, C Chakith. They made the entire family of St. Ann’s proud, by their excellent performance in the board exams.

We began this academic year with a new look in KG wing (Gnanam Block). Kids are the most innocent flowers that can ever bloom. To get these flowers into the garden, a decorative paintings like the banners, trees and birds were displayed. The classroom walls were decorated with stories in UKG classrooms and with fruits, vegetables, flowers, birds, animals and cartoons to enrich the nourishment of the students along with a colourful ambience.

An indoor playroom is beautifully decorated with their favorite cartoons and play items for the tiny tots to have fun from their regular study mood.

Before the academic session began we had a few Staff enrichment programs. Orientation and spiritual programs were carried out for the staff in adopting an active classroom atmosphere, implementing play way methods and learning by doing methods. Teachers got rejuvenated and gathered strength to equip themselves with the challenges that they have to take up in the new academic session.

St. Ann’s aims to provide young people with accurate, age appropriate and culturally relevant information which promote healthy attitudes and develop skills to enable them to respond to real life situations effectively.

The entire strength is divided into five houses – Gnanamma’s House , St. Ann’s House, Dieckmann’s House, St. Francis House and RCM House. Group activities for the academic session were planned to ensure that each and every Annite is provided the ability to pursue his/her dream. We give them opportunities to exhibit their talents and channelize them to develop further.

“India spearheading the yoga to the world is certainly a proud moment for every Indian. We, as Indians found it our obligation to learn yoga from the organization “Andhariki Arogyam” to avoid stress and depression.
